Suggestive Backhaul Matching

The Backhaul Matching module provides multi-location Shippers/3PL’s with an automated tool to identify high-value round-trip moves within their internal network. Based on delivery and pickup windows, CarrierPoint will suggest loads that can be paired with each other prior to load tendering to maximize savings. Paired loads are then offered in least-cost order according to backhaul-specific discounted rates put in place with contract carriers. This matching is done in real-time as new loads are passed to CarrierPoint, providing a continuous view of savings opportunities.

Load Consolidation

The Load Consolidation module provides the ability to combine individual loads (LTL or TL) into full TL or continuous-move loads prior to tendering to carriers on CarrierPoint. Consolidations are offered to carriers as multi-stop moves, with full support for DockMaster scheduling and other features for the entire route. Consolidation candidates are identified via weight-limits, priority, and shipping timeframes. In addition, regional searching can be used to identify TL continuous-move opportunities.

Auto-Audit

The Auto-Audit module provides online freight bill submission and auditing capabilities, with flexible auto-approval features to ensure that you only need to review exceptions, while guaranteeing problem bills are flagged.

The Audit module also includes fuel surcharge schedules, which are automatically updated each Monday based on the DOE Regional Fuel Indices.

Parameters are set to either automatically approve freight bills when submitted by the carrier, or throw the bill into a ‘Review’ status. Review status can be triggered if the freight bill is out of tolerance by X percent or Y dollars, if the carrier claimed any additional fees that were not initially present on the load, or if any user at the shipper location added any charges to the freight bill. Once reviewed and approved, detailed line-level freight bill information is released for payment.

Yard Management

This new module provides slot-level tracking of trailer pools, automatic assignment of trailers to yard slots, rotation of empty equipment, and movement between the yard and dock for loading and unloading.

ActiveTrack

ActiveTrack delivers exception notifications directly to the people who need to know, automatically. Notifications can be routed by customer, vendor, and exception type, and can be scheduled based on the work schedule of each customer service representative, allowing proactive resolution of issues.

Automatic Report Delivery

Performance Measurement delivered to your inbox! Schedule daily, weekly, or monthly performance reports to be delivered automatically to those who need to know. Reports are run and delivered via spreadsheet, allowing proactive delivery of important measurement metrics like carrier on-time pickup or delivery, loading/unloading summaries, or carrier activity.

Auto-Charting

Auto-charting allows graphical reporting of performance measurement reports, either delivered through email or used directly in your bowser.
